When Soulivity first spoke with Dayna Farris Fisher, the conversation was about life, purpose, possibility, and the experiences that shape who we become.

Today, we return to that conversation for a different reason.

Dayna passed away last week, and her loss is being felt by the many people whose lives she touched. Friends and classmates have begun sharing memories of her warmth, presence, and the person they knew beyond any title or accomplishment.

For us at Soulivity, what remains is her voice.

The beauty of an interview is that it can outlive the moment in which it was recorded. What someone believed, what they valued, what they hoped others might understand — those things remain.

And so rather than allowing this conversation to sit quietly in the archive, we are bringing it forward again as a remembrance.

Dayna is an entrepreneur, speaker, and advocate for women's health issues and support. She has written for CNBC, and her story has been exclusively featured in congressional testimony.

A Life That Meant Something

Dayna’s story was never simply about what she had done.

What made the conversation meaningful was the way she spoke about life itself — about the choices we make, the experiences that shape us, and the importance of living in a way that reflects who we truly are.

Those ideas feel different now.

Words that once sounded like reflections on living can, after someone is gone, become reminders of what they leave behind.

A life is not measured only by milestones. It is also measured by the people who remember us, the conversations that stay with them, and the ways our presence continues to echo after we are no longer physically here.

The Gift of Revisiting a Voice

There is something powerful about hearing someone speak from a moment when neither they nor we knew how precious those words would eventually become.

That is part of what makes archives matter.

They allow us to return not only to information, but to people.

To their humor.

Their insight.

Their convictions.

Their hopes.

Their way of seeing the world.

And in that sense, a conversation can become more than content. It can become a record of presence.

Remembering Dayna

As those who knew Dayna begin to reflect on her life, Soulivity joins them in honoring her memory.

We are grateful that she shared part of her story with us.

We are grateful for the opportunity to revisit her words.

And most of all, we are reminded that the greatest value of a meaningful conversation is not always understood at the time it happens.

Sometimes its meaning becomes clearer later.

Dayna Farris Fisher’s voice remains part of the Soulivity story, and we are honored to preserve it.

Passion. Purpose. Living.
