Pivoting has been the cornerstone of many conversations with friends, family, colleagues, and students as of late. I think its an important conversation to have especially with new college graduates.
This past Spring 2023, I had the pleasure of speaking at Pratt Institute's Lavender Graduation. I looked across the room and saw a myriad of talents and personalities, my main objective was to impart the importance of community and relationships. These two things will help you as you pivot in life. Also, what you may study in school most likely will not be the career you pursue, or it will definitely evolve in many ways.
Another thing I point out is thinking in a limited manner or using limited words, we must all remember we have many gifts and are multidimensional beings.
